OnePlus 5T in Beta Oreo Event, Coming to the End of This Year

The OnePlus 5T is launching on November 21, but it will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, not 8.0 Oreo update. In today’s OnePlus 5T event, the company also gave OnePlus 5T users, an update on when to assume the reveal of Android 8.0 Oreo update on its previous flagship, the OnePlus 5.

According to OnePlus Company, they will be launching a beta version of Android 8.0 Oreo on the OnePlus 5T in November month. The OnePlus Company says that this beat update is not only for the onePlus users also for everyone who uses smartphones, so the program will be available as a download option in OnePlus’ site. The beta version will be open to anyone willing to install the update.

Along with the beta version launching in this month, you’d possibly assume the final announcement to reach not too long after, might be it can be the latest version of its Oxygen OS. OnePlus Company says that the targeting for a final Oreo release in early 2018. They will not specify the accurate date, but at least they give us a hint for when to expect the update to come to your device.

The OnePlus Company has confirmed the time of this update for the OnePlus 5. But, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users already had Oreo builds in open beta version and before they promised to get their steady update by the end of the year, anyway, that strategy may have changed in this action. It will be the final update the devices receive, the company had established before.

In the United States, OnePlus 5T has been launched with a price of $449 and $559, separately for the two variant of storage models.
