Nokia has Start Rolling Out Android 8.0 Oreo Update to Their Next Smartphone Nokia 8

HMD Global is going to sell the Nokia’s next model on coming Friday. Along with they announced the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo update for Nokia 8.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global said in his twitter, “We are proud to transport a pure and secure Android 8.0 Oreo update for our next smartphone Nokia 8.”

Update Size

The Android 8.0 Oreo beta update already raveled last month for Nokia 8. But now users needed to sign up to become a beta tester for that.  The Android Oreo update has 1.5GB in size.  Also November Android security update as well.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 8 smartphone in September for Rs 36,999.


  • It has come with a dual-SIM slot (Nano) and a 5.3-inch QHD (1440p x 2560p) IPS display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
  • This smartphone comes with dual-rear cameras 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, IR rangefinder, PDAF and dual tone rear flash. On front camera, it has a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture.
  • The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor combined with stock Android Nougat operating system.
  • There is 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with MicroSD card slot to expand storage up to 256GB.
  • It has a big 3,090mAh battery powers the smartphone, which comes with Qualcomm “fast Charge” capability.
